What Air Rescue Card customers say:
"My mom fell down a few stairs at the Marriott in Puerto Vallarta Mexico a few months ago. A simple ankle fracture turned into a nightmare. The local hospital was filthy. The doctor wanted to amputate her leg after a nasty infection set in. Our credit card insurance was worthless, as they wanted to take her to Guadalajara. Thank God for the Air Rescue Card! Within 20 minutes of our call, a jet was on its way to pick her up and take her to San Diego. The doctors at Scripps saved her leg and she is doing fine. I had no idea that being without that Air Rescue Card could have cost her leg, possibly her life. I recommend it to anyone who travels outside of the US or Canada. People take for granted the medical care we have in the United States. Everybody who travels should have this coverage."
-- Stacey, Seattle, Washington
"I owe my life to and thank God for the Air Rescue Card! After a horrible car accident in Cabo I was rushed to the hospital (or what they call a hospital). The doctor immediately wanted to do a blood transfusion. My wife called the emergency number on the back of my Air Rescue Card and Travel Assist Network spoke to my attending physician and told them to stabilize me, but not to give me any blood. Within hours they had a private jet taking me back to Los Angeles. As it turned out, I had a ruptured spleen and if I would have been given a blood transfusion I would have died from internal bleeding."

“On our most recent trip I broke my ankle and needed evacuation home. As soon as I was injured, our trip director called the 24-hour hotline, and the next thing I knew I was on the next flight home with a medical escort to help me with my bags. Our travel insurance would have only taken me to the nearest appropriate facility, which probably would have been somewhere in Europe. I’m so thankful that I was able to come home!”

“I slipped on a rock and developed severe pain down my back and lower leg. After checking into the hospital, I contacted the Air Rescue Card and they reviewed my case with my attending doctors. As it turns out, I herniated a disk between the L5 and S1 disks. The very next day, the Air Rescue Card arranged to get me back home. I am so grateful for the prompt and reliable service that the Air Rescue Card provided."
-- Edward, Wellesley Massachusetts
“I called from the airport just before stepping on the plane and was able to get set up in moments. You have a great service on the phone with excellent follow through in email and I’m very pleased with the great service! Thank you for making me, the mother of four children, feel safe while traveling abroad."
-- JoAnne
“On the fourth day of the cruise, I developed a case of internal bleeding. The ship’s doctor said she could not determine the source and recommended that I return to the U.S. for further diagnosis and treatment. Your staff took the ball and ran with it. Thanks!”
